Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Amos Arrow developed an early fascination with collages—their imagery, language, and power to shape perception. He discovered collage as a portal to time travel while staying rooted in his cultural identity. His works blend jazz and hip hop into unified compositions that pulse with rhythm and meaning.

This practice deepened into a fuller philosophy. During a trip to Miami, Arrow encountered the work of Peter Tunney and was transformed. Far from his Brooklyn roots, Tunney's approach of weaving positive messaging into art revealed new possibilities—complexity infused with humor and intention.

Working primarily in collage, Arrow layers fragments of text and image into compositions that feel both immediate and expansive. Through mixed media—paint, music, texture—he builds work that carries clarity without chaos, structure without rigidity.

A consistent thread runs through Arrow's practice: the recurring blue, the way each piece reads differently up close and from a distance. Every work functions as both artwork and affirmation, collapsing the distance between visual expression and lived intention.
